TSCC crushes CCA by 9 wkts, sails into semis

JAMMU, June 29: Tawi Sports Cricket Club (TSCC) crushed Country Cricket Academy (CCA) in quarterfinal match and sailed into semifinal of the ongoing 3rd Jammu Tawi Summer T-20 Cup, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Cricket Club at GGM Science College ground, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, CCA scored 103 runs for all out in 20 overs. Marutwan was top scorer with 18 runs, whereas Satyam Gupta and Lakshay Khajuria made 16 and 13 runs respectively.
From TSCC side, Nitin Mehra and Monu scalped 2 wickets each, whileas Aryan Dogra, Prince and Surinder Anchal took one wicket apiece.
In the second inning, TSCC chased the target in 9.5 overs for the loss of just 1 wicket. Aryan Dogra played superb inning of 39 runs, whileas Surinder and Puneet contributed with 33 and 32 runs respectively.
From CCA side, Marutwan scalped 1 wicket.
Aryan Dogra of TSCC was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Madan Lal and Sandeep Manchanda as umpires, whileas Sohail Yusuf maintained the scorecard.
