BJP expresses concern over harassment to KP employees

JAMMU, June 30: BJP Displaced convened a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Virender Kuchroo its general secretary. The meeting expressed shock, dismay and disappointment over the harassment of KP employees serving in Kashmir Valley.
The meeting was also addressed by president of the Displaced Unit T N Bhat.
Kuchroo took serious exception of transferring these employees by some officers in administration in quite violation of Government instructions that these employees be posted within five kilometers of their residence.
He demanded that non camp employees be provided safe, secured and suitable government accommodations as well. He said KPs are ready to return and be settled as per their aspirations. He said such people who are harassing the KP employees are   against the co-existence and the Government should take stern action against them.
The meeting made an appeal to government to provide special relaxation for PM’s special scholarship scheme for migrant students.
M L Sapori, Ashok Bhat, Vijay Raina, Satish Zuthsi, Ashok Tickoo and Sunil Bhat were among others who attended the meeting.
