JAMMU, June 30: Sheikh Owais Ahmad IPS ADGP retired as Director of Vigilance today along with DIG Vigilance Jagdish Lal Sharma IPS, were accorded farewell at Vigilance Headquarters by Vigilance Organization Jammu and Kashmir.
The staff while hailing the services of the two officers said that both discharged their duties in the most vital department of the State with honesty and integrity and their services will be the torch bearer for the people who are striving to make Jamu and Kashmir a State free of corruption and nepotism.
A warm and affectionate farewell was accorded to retiring Chief Executive Officer of Jammu Central Cooperative Bank Sikander Gupta at an impressive function which was presided over by bank chairman Mohinder Sharma. The chairman applauded the services rendered by Sikander Gupta and wished him a happy and prosperous post retirement life. Other senior officers of the bank and staff members were also present on the occasion.
