JAMMU, July 3: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here today under the Presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President, Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members of both the organisations.
. Shadi Lal Pandita while speaking in the meeting said that since slip books have not yet been issued in favour of the migrant relief holders they have been facing difficulties in procuring monthly ration items. He made an appeal to the Relief Commissioner R.K. Pandita for allowing the relief holders to procure ration items against the counter foil slips of the ration books of 2014, as seven months of current year have already elapsed.
The meeting demanded that the the Zonal officers having over due stay in this organisation be transferred as well as other ministerial staff of different zones be replaced by new faces to stream line the working of the Relief Organization.
The participants have expressed their grave concern over the unscheduled power curtailments in Jagti migrant camp since the date of Darbar Move and demanded improvement in power supply besides renovating Kandoli Mata- Jagti road.
