Corruption free, transparent governance ensured: DyCM

KATHUA, July 5:  Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today said that the Government has ensured transparency at all levels and free of corruption administration while care has been taken to ensure equitable  developmental of all the three regions of the State.
The Deputy CM was addressing a gathering while inaugurating the 19th Bhandara of Jai Baba Neelkanth Sewa Mandal at Hiranagar in Kathua district today.
Mahant Ajay Dass, Chairman of Mandal Devinder Verma and President Ashok Kumar Tadia were present on the occasion.
Dr. Nirmal Singh said that during a short stint of 4 months endeavor has been made to provide a hassle free Government and approachable to all cross-sections of the society irrespective of caste, creed, religion and region.
“Our Government is working for the benefits of common man”, said the Dy CM, adding that corrupt and tainted officials have been shunted out of the Government service and it would be a continuous process.  He asked the people to pro-actively involve themselves in the process so that menace of corruption is eradicated once for all.
Referring to new recruitment policy, the Deputy Chief Minister said that this would fast track employment in Govt sector and would benefit a large chunk of unemployed and educated youth of the State. He said Government  is also making all out efforts to invite corporate sector to invest in Jammu and Kashmir aimed to generate employment opportunities for educated and unemployed youth.
Dr Nirmal Singh said that keeping in view the sentiments of the people, Government has exempted Shri Amarnath Bhandara material from toll tax which was a long pending demand of the Langar Organizations.
