Two nabbed with illicit liquor

JAMMU, July 5: Jourian police nabbed two persons along with large quantity of illicit liquor from forest area in Kaleeth.
As per police sources, on specific information about manufacturing of illicit liquor, a police team from police post Jourian conducted raid in jungle area at Kaleeth and arrested two persons.
From their possession, police recovered 12 litres of illicit liquor and also dismantled the equipments used to manufacture liquor.
The accused have been identified as Gurdayal Singh, son of Karan Singh and Parshotam Kumar, son of Sardari Lal, both residents of Kaleeth.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Jourian police post and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge police post Jourian SI Sukhvir Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Akhnoor Inspector Pushpinder Singh, SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
