2 held with 23 bottles of Corex, 300 gm charas

JAMMU, July 7: Police today arrested two persons and recovered 23 bottles of Corex and 300 grams of charas from their possession.
According to a police spokesperson, both were held during naka checking at Sunjwan Morh when they were travelling with 23 bottles of Corex and 300 grams of charas on a motor bike bearing registration No JK02W-1943.
On interception of the accused persons namely Shakeel Ahmed son of Faiz Ahmed, a resident of Hari Merhote, Tehsil Surankote (at present Ward No 11, Shanker Nagar in Poonch) and Narinder Kumar son of Rohit Kumar, who resides near old fort, Poonch, approximately 300 g of Charas and 23 bottles of Corex were recovered from their possession.
Accordingly, a case FIR no 161/2015 u/s 8/20/29 NDPS Act has been registered against botht he accused.
The arrests and recoveries were made by SI Mehmood Khan, Incharge, police post, Bathindi under the supervision of Deputy SP (p) Manshs Beig and SHO Bahu Fort, SDPO East, Rafiq Manhas and SSP Jammu, Rajiv Panday.
