JAMMU, July 7: Two-day training workshop on 73rd round of NSS, organized by the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, J&K, concluded today.
The workshop was organized under the guidance and patronage of Director General Riyaz Ahmad Banday.
The 73rd round of NSS, earmarked exclusively to `Unincorporated Non-Agricultural Enterprises in Manufacturing, Trade and Other Service (excluding construction)’ commenced from July 1, 2015 for one year till June 30, 2016.
During the valedictory session of two-day training workshop, Joint Director DSE, Veena Kumari Thaper, said that the training workshop was devoted to the discussion on concepts, definitions, technical terms and contents of various schedules to be canvassed in 73rd round.
The training was attended by the officers and staff from District Statistical agencies, NSSO, FOD Jammu and DES Jammu.
