6 injured in mishaps

SRINAGAR, July 7: Police today said that six persons were injured in different road accidents in South Kashmir.
A police spokesman said an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Yousuf Ahanger at Jhakbooni in Anantnag district. He said the injured was shifted to hospital for treatment and a case has been registered in this regard.
In Kulgam, a car fell in a Nallah at Hanger in Behibagh resulting in injuries to Mohammad Sulaiman Bhat. The injured was shifted to the Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a Maruti Car hit and injured a pedestrian Waseem Ahmed Chopan near Fly Over in Wanpoh area of Kulgam, district. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment,” the police spokesman said.
In Awantipora, an Alto bearing registration number JK22/6739 collided with a Tipper JK01H/4500 at Lethpora resulting in injuries to three persons. The injured have been hospitalized.
