KISHTWAR, July 9: Bar Association Kishtwar today elected its office bearers and the election in this regard was held under the Election Committee comprising of senior Advocate JL Shan, M H Waza and Inderjeet Charak.
Among the total 26 members of BAK, 18 took part in the elections and all of them voted in favour of I A Hamal for the post of president. M R Rathore was elected as vice president, Vikas Kant Sharma as general secretary and Azhar Shah as joint secretary. All of them were elected unopposed.
Inderjeet Charak was elected as cashier, Thakur Suman Bhandari as spokesman and Amees Mir and N K Dev as liabrary incharge. Those elected as executive committee members, included K A Dev, M H Waza, G N Zargar, Syed Arif Peer, Tauqeer Hap, Majid Kelam, Firdous Waza, Amir Waza, Jalel Waza and Kuldeep Sharma.
