JAMMU, July 10: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association after organizing State (Men &Women) Power Lifting Championship on July 5 and 6,2015, selected State Power Lifting Men and Women team for participation in the Senior-National Power Lifting Championship-2015 to be held at Kashipur in Uttrakhand from September 8 to September 13, 2015.
According the handout issued here, the team has been selected by the Association on merit basis in the presence of Rakesh Jain (President), Narinder Singh (Secretary) and Jeevan Batta (Member). Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu Range and SHO Gandhi Nagar, Bishnah were also present to boost the morale of the players.
The teams:
Women: Surmeet Kour Soni, Fatimabibi, Sudesh Kumari, Harmeet Kour and Irvinder Kour.
Men: Rakesh Kumar, Feroz Khan, Pawan Kumar, Bhaskar Sharma, Sandeep Kumar, Vijay Choudhary, Pankaj Verma, Rohit Singh Jamwal , Vikramjeet Singh, Rohit Sharma, Harish Sharma, Deeshant Khajuria and dinesh Singh.
Rajan Jain, General Secretary of the Association will accompany the team alongwith his officials.
