JAMMU, July 12: Mahavir International Jammu Centre organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region, Blood Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu and J&K Aids Control Society Jammu at Red Cross Attendant Sarai, Maheshpura Chowk, here today.
The Camp was inaugurated by Vir Vinod Jain, Chairman, Mahavir International, Jammu Centre, who threw light on the importance of Voluntary Blood Donation and urged upon the youth to come forward and donate blood voluntarily for humanitarian cause.
R C Puri, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region presented a brief note on the importance of Voluntary Blood Donation.
More than 30 units of blood was donated by the members of Mahavir International Jammu Centre.
Those present in the Camp included Bhushan Jain, Rajesh Jain, Rita Jain, Anoop Jain, Virender Jain, Leena Jain, Parveen Jain and Ashu Jain.
