SRINAGAR, July 13 : Under the instructions of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for Horticulture, Haj & Auquaf, A. R. Veeri, Minister for Rural Development, Abdul Haq Khan and senior PDP leader Rafi Ahmed Mir, today visited the cloudburst areas of Pahalgam and Kokernag and took stock of the situation.
The Ministers interacted with the affected people and assured necessary ex-gratia relief at the earliest. They issued necessary instructions to the administration to take immediate steps to provide ex-gratia relief to the affected families as per norms.
Meanwhile, the people of the areas also raised some issues of public importance before the Ministers and requested for paying immediate attention. They assured to address the same on priority.
