Srinagar, July 15: Three days after a deadly cloud burst hit Pahalgam resort of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district in which four members of a family were killed, the bodies of the two slain persons are still untraced.
On the night of Saturday, a cloud burst hit picturesque Aru valley of Pahalgam. The cloud burst washed away a Kotha of a Gujjar family leading to death of four people including his wife, two daughters and a son. Zakir himself was injured in the cloud burst.
Soon after the incident, the police along with other rescue agencies started search operation and they were able to retrieve the bodies of Zakir’s son and one of the daughters.
However, it has been three days but there is no clue of his wife, Saleema and one year old daughter, Guddi.
“The police along with NDRF and SDRF are on job but so far there has been no success,” said a police official over phone from Anantnag.
