Bhanu Pratap, Rajinder Singh selected for Wushu India Camp

JAMMU, July 17: Bhanu Pratap Singh and Rajinder Singh of Wushu Association of Jammu and Kashmir have sealed berth in the India Camp, which is underway at SAI Imphal (Manipur) for the preparation of the Indian team for the 13th World Wushu Championship to be held at Jakarta in Indonesia in the month of November 2015.
The Wushu Association of J&K conducted the selection trial at SAI Imphal for the finalization of the probables for the National Wushu Coaching Camp. Both the players were selected on their performance during the selection trials under 60kg and 85kg respectively.
It is pertinent to mention here that Bhanu Pratap Singh was selected on the basis of superb performances in the 35th National Games at Kerala in which he had secured gold medal for the State.
The chairman of the Association, S Owais and president H K Lohia alongwith other office bearers of the Association lauded the efforts of these players for this achievement.
