REASI, July 18: All Jammu and Kashmir Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union, Reasi District, has expressed its serious concern over the incidents of electric shock to Linemen working on the poles and demanded best possible treatment of the victims.
These incidents had taken place at Akhnoor and Janipur Jammu in which Linemen Kaku Ram of Division number III and Jagmohan Singh of Division number 1, received severe electric shock while performing duty. Both of them have been admitted in GMC Hospital Jammu with serious condition.
The Workers Union held a meeting under the chairmanship of Vijay Gupta and appealed the Power Minister as well as Power Development Commissioner for ensuring best treatment of both the Linemen.
