JAMMU, July 19: Pakistan Army tonight again violated ceasefire and resorted to small arms firing in Shahpur area of Poonch sector targeting forward Indian posts and civilian areas.
Official sources said Pakistan Army started firing at Shahpur, Gountri and Kasba forward villages in Shahpur area of Poonch sector at about 11 pm. Indian side returned the firing, leading to exchanges.
Till the reports last came in at midnight tonight, there was no casualty or damage on the Indian side. However, the firing was going on.
Pakistan Army was trying to target civilian areas, sources said.
Yesterday, five civilians including three civilians were injured in Pakistan shelling in Kasba and Shahpur.
