SRINAGAR, July 21: Prof. Sudhir K. Jain, Vice-Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) called on Governor, N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University, here at the Raj Bhavan.
Prof. Jain briefed the Governor about the proposals drawn up by him regarding the further academic growth of the University and the corresponding need for enlarging the infrastructural requirements.
The Governor advised Prof. Jain to take very early steps to finalise a 10-15 year perspective plan of the University and, side by side, take time bound action to fill up all gaps in the existing academic strength of the University.
