JKNPP to offer court arrests against BJP’s betrayal on AIIMS

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, July 22: Rebuking the BJP’s unsavoury breach of written commitment made last month to the public on the announcement of establishing AIIMS in Jammu by 20th of July, Balwant Singh Mankotia, State president, J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP), today said that NPP shall intensify the protests by offering series of Court arrests at all District Head Quarters of Jammu Province from next week onwards.
Addressing a press conference, Mankotia asserted that Panthers Party will not relent unless a full-fledged AIIMS is established in the Jammu region and cautioned that anything less than that would further aggravate the civil unrest which would blow the Saffron Party to smithereens.
Describing the BJP for once again carrying on the legacy of playing foul with the people of Jammu, Mankotia said that both Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and Minister for Social welfare, Forest and Ecology & Environment, Bali Bhagat, do not deserve to hold the Ministerial positions in the Government and as such they must tender their resignations on moral grounds and sought a public apology from them for playing with the esteem and honour of the people who had overwhelmingly voted them to power.
He recalled that anticipating a massive public agitation over the AIIMS impasse, a written assurance duly signed and given by both the BJP incumbents last month to the ACC (AIIMS Coordination Committee) for officially announcement of AIIMS for the Jammu region by July 20, only turned as a hollow commitment, once again befooling the people of the region.
Others present in the press conference were Dhani Ram Attri, Sudesh Sharma, Gulshan Kesar and Sunil Sharma.
