NEW DELHI:Country’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) today launched NEXA, a premium sales channel to woo successful youngsters who are willing to spend on luxuries. With a new format of retail experience for customers, nearly 100 NEXA showrooms will come up across India over the next 6-8 months, MSIL said in a statement.
With a market share of 45 per cent, the company has set a target of selling two million vehicles per annum by 2020. Hence, MSIL ”is taking new initiatives in all areas of business”. NEXA is one such major initiative of the company which is reaching out to new segments of customers emerging in a changing India.
” Customer feedback and surveys have shown there is a growing segment of car buying Indians who desire and value personal care, warmth and attention.” MSIL Managing Director and CEO , Kenichi Ayukawa said. (AGENCIES)
