JAMMU, July 23: A deputation of J&K United School Teachers Association today called on Director School Education Jammu and submitted her charter of demands.
The demands, projected in the memorandum, included a transparent transfer policy, repatriation of Masters and Lecturers, who have completed their tenure in far off places,
adjustment of all Masters in one go whose DPC was made in February 2014, regularization of all RET teachers who have completed their five years, immediate release of Senior teacher grade in favor of trained undergraduate teachers, filling all vacant post of Headmaster by holding DPC, regularization of Lecturers, Headmasters and Principals, providing infrastructure in newly opened primary schools, removal of pay anomalies, release salaries of school teachers working under SSA, RMSA,& NPS etc and clearing pending permission for higher education files.
Giving patient hearing to the deputation, Director Yasha Mudgal assured to concede some of the demands at an earliest.
The delegation, headed by president Hari Singh, comprised of Rajeev Kumar, Shanti Saroop Sharma, Dr Shashi Pal Singh, Raj Kumar, Joginder Kumar and Ram Chand.
