JAMMU, July 23: All Migrants Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) in its meeting here, today under the leadership of Desh Rattan Pandita urged the Union as well as State Government to clear the stand of the rehabilitation of displaced Pandits in Valley.
The meeting said that Government should make it clear that for how many more long years the Kashmiri Pandits have to lead an exiled life as for last 26 years the successive Governments at Delhi and in the State have failed to restore their homeland to them.
The meeting decided to launch a movement from Delhi by holding a protest in front of Parliament to mobilize the public opinion nationwide for the rights of displaced Pandits who were forced to flee from Valley under a biog conspiracy and the successive Governments except creation of false hopes have done nothing in this regard.
The meeting said a community which had a glorious past was forced to lead an exiled life and to live on the mercy of others due to follies of the successive Governments since 1947. It said the political leadership of country has betrayed the community and the AMCCC has decided to launch a movement by bringing all KP organizations on one platform.
