SRINAGAR, July 24: An Army sponsored under-19 Champions Trophy T-20 Tournament would commence from tomorrow at main campus of Kashmir University (KU) here.
A defence spokesman said that the tournament is being organised at KU play ground from tomorrow till August 9.
“In the tournament, 16 cricket teams from in and around the downtown area of Srinagar will be participating and competing for the grand trophy which has been specially designed for this mega cricketing event,” he said.
He said that this tournament will be the finest opportunities for the cricket players to show case their talent.
“The mega event has been organised by all Jammu and Kashmir People’s Welfare Organisation where in logistics, administrative and financial support is being provided by the Chinar Corps,” he added.
