Judicial Officers imparted training on use of Ubuntu Operating System

SRINAGAR, July 26: On the instructions of Chief Justice High Court of J&K N. Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Chaiperson  e-Court , High Court of Jammu & Kashmir, Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar and Justice Tashi Rabstan Members e-Committee, High Court of J&K, the training  on “Ubuntu Linux Awareness Cum Training Program under Change Management” for the Judicial Officers of Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Budgam districts was conducted.
Judicial Officers of these districts were imparted training on use of Ubuntu Operating System customized by e-Committee, Supreme Court of India. The training was conducted by Proficient Master Trainers Malik Shabir Ahmed, CPC, High Court of J&K and Fayaz Ahmad Qureshi, Sub-Registrar, Srinagar.  They imparted training to the Judicial Officers of Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Budgam.
Pervez Hussain Kachroo, Registrar Judicial Srinagar wing of the High Court made suitable arrangements for the training programme & was present personally throughout the programme.
The Judicial Officers were made aware about the various advantages of UBUNTU Linux 14.4 Operating System and various functionalities it carries. They were imparted practical training on the system as a whole. The officers were attentive & showed eagerness to learn new concepts in the technology adoption – a process undertaken by the High Court
e-Court Technical Staff namely Uzeir Nazir (Sr. System Officer), Tajher Bashir, (System Officer, Anantnag), Muhammad Iqbal (System Officer, Kulgam ),  Malik Tariq (System Officer, Shopian), Prince Hilal (System Officer, Budgam) were present at High Court Complex Srinagar. They extended all the technical support in making the program successful.
