SRINAGAR, July 26: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, an Education Conference was held by the Education Department in south Kashmir’s Shopian district today.
Officials said that the conference was attended by all principals, Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs), headmasters of primary and middle schools and lecturers of the district.
They said the conference was held with an aim to point out the loopholes in the teaching system and to uplift the standard of education through available resources.
The participants of the conference also held deliberations over increasing the enrollment in Government schools and stressed on providing the best education and counselling to poor students of the district.
