JAMMU, July 28: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Speedball Association organized an impressive function to felicitate the players of 7th National Junior and Senior Speedball Championship 2015 held recently at Maharashtra.
The function was organized by Sunny Nanda, general secretary of the Association.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Pawan Kotwal was the chief guest on the occasion. He was accompanied by a galaxy of dignitaries including S P Langer, VK Sharma, Vijay Gupta, Bansi Lal Gupta and Rishi Kumar.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Ravi Tikku, Gourav Abrol, VK Gupta, Pawan Kumar, Pushwinder Singh Charak, Anil Nanda, Savita Sethi, Renu Bala and Jyoti Gupta.
The players who were felicitated for their achievements included Manthan Pandoh, Mradima Gupta, Rhea Tikku, Aditya Singh Aithmia, Aryan Kangotra, Pratham, Suryansh, Amandeep ,Pranay Gupta, Ankit Sharma, Gurmanjeet Singh, Sahil Janjua and Ajay Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kotwal assured the organizers that he will provide all the help in promoting the game to its highest pinnacle.
Later-on, Mr Langer presented the vote of thanks.
