JAMMU, July 30: Roller Skaters from Banyan International School made the institution proud by bagging first place out of 26 schools in State Roller Skating Championship 2015, held at Shiva Roller Skating institute, Peerkhoo.
The budding roller skaters clinched 15 gold and 3 trophies, apart from other medals for the School. Skaters who brought laurels to the School included Shreya Gupta, Kanya Jamwal, Garima Jamwal, Srishti Turki, Harsh Harinder, Nischal, Jasleen Kour, Amrit Pal Singh, Chandeep Singh, Parmeet Singh and Vansh Kumar.
School Principal, TR.Ramesh lauded the efforts of the skaters and their coach Sudesh Kumar for their exceptional performance.
