Ek Sath Rang Mandal presents ‘Nukkad’

JAMMU, Aug 3: Ek Sath Rang Mandal today presented it’s 154th Monday Theatre with Vijay Malla’s new progressive Nukkad ‘Awwo Hum Tumhey Battaey’ at its Sarwal Headquarter, here today.
The event was organized In collaboration with BLSKS and Unison Cultural Troupe and International Volunteer Foundation (IVF).
This ‘nukkad’ was especially presented for children and students who are not aware of the great people who sacrificed their lives for the freedom struggle of our Country.
An old man holding national flag relates story of those great brave personalities who have given their lives for our freedom. Old man narrates the definition of Bharat Mata. He says Bharat Mata is mother of all of us so we should respect and take care of our mother as and when she needs.
Now this old man starts with the story of Veer Sarverkar who on January 27, 1911 was arrested by the British and sentenced for 50 years to Kaala Paani. He had forecasted at that time that within these 50 years of his imprisonment our country will get independence. He was arrested and brought to India and was fabricated in false case of conspiracy by the British. After 50 years in 1947 India got independence and Veer Sarverkar was set free as his prediction of Independence proved true.
Then he related the story of Neta Ji Subash Chander Bose, Chander Shekhar Azad and so on.
The nukkad was written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Anuroop Pathania. The actors included Romesh Chander, Kiran Kumar Sharma, Ganesh Singh, Dheeraj Kumar Mahajan, Raju Mad and Vijay Malla.
