Karvan-e-Aman bus cancelled due to Eid

SRINAGAR, Aug 19: The Karvan-e-Aman bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) has been cancelled due to Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow.
Official sources said that  there will be no bus service tomorrow as both India and Pakistan agreed to cancel it in view of the Eid festival.
They said the residents of PoK and Kashmiris, who were scheduled to travel in the weekly cross border bus, will be accommodated in next bus on August 27.
This is the third time this year that the bus service was cancelled by the authorities.
Due to avalanches resulting from heavy snowfall on other side of the Line of Control (LoC) the service was cancelled on January 16 and 23.
