JAMMU, Aug 7: Springdales School organized a teachers’ participation and experimentation program (T-PEP) in association with Oxford University Press, New Delhi for staff members of both branches of the School-Lower Barnai and Canal Road.
TPEP introduces teachers to  hands on teaching learning approach called ‘Kino Learn’ signifying learning with change. Kino Learn has been developed by eminent educationist and author of a series of Kindergarten Books (which were awarded in 2014 for Early Learning Solution by Indian Didactic Association)-Sonia Relia, who was also the conductor of the workshop.
In the workshop, the 25 KG and primary teachers learned to empower classroom resources, conduct and plan activities that will address the different developmental needs of the children and to manage classrooms in order to facilitate optimal learning environments.
Through direct participation attendees also got involved in creating learning material. Through a question-answer session in which issues related to KG and primary education were also discussed.
In conclusion, the Principal of the school-Rashmee Malhotra presented vote of thanks.
