Prog on ‘Value Education’ organized

JAMMU, Aug 7: Vishwa Bharati Public Higher Secondary School Akalpur Morh, organized a programme on “Value Education” in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission Udheywalla, here today.
The focus of the programme was to develop moral values among the students.
The programme started with “Saraswati Vandana” presented by students which was followed by welcome address by Principal, Annapurna Koul.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Swami Narshimha Nanda Jee, Editor Prabuddha Barat from Ramakrishna Mission; Prof. A.N. Sadhu (Secretary College of Education); R.L. Tickoo (Treasurer VBPS), Prof. Sunita Kampassi (Principal Vishwa Bharati College of Education), SK Khushu (Coordinator) and the other faculty members.
Apart from the speeches from SwamiJee and Prof Sadhu, the speeches on the topics “Facing Real-Life Challenges” in English and “Samrya Mukt Jeevan” in Hindi were delivered by members of teaching faculty, Uttama Tickoo, Narinder and also by the students Komal Bhat and Sukanya Pandita from Class 11th.
Anju Dulloo from Department of Hindi gave a concluding speech and  Ranu Koul presented vote of thanks.
The programme was compared by Anneta Sharma from Department of Sanskrit.
