BHADERWAH, Aug 7: As part of ‘Independence Day Celebrations 2015’, the Rashtriya Rifles based at Bhaderwah under Delta Force organized a essay and slogan writing competition today at Bhalla and Goha.
Commemorating the 69th Independence Day, an essay competition was organized for children at Bhalla, today.
A total of 25 students from various schools participated in the competition.
Rajesh Sharma, Head Master, Middle School Bhalla inaugurated the competition in presence of various local villagers.
During his speech, Mr Sharma explained the importance of Independence Day to the children and said that such initiatives by Delta Force will go a long way towards spreading the message of peace and harmony among the locals.
A slogan writing competition’ was also organized at Goha, today.
A total of 45 students participated in the competition. The response was overwhelming and the event witnessed active participation by the students. Om Prakash, Sarpanch of Goha presented prizes to the winners.
