POONCH, Aug 19: Jhalas ‘A’ blanked Jhalas ‘B’ by three goals to nil (3-0) in the summit clash to lift the title trophy of the football tournament which came to its conclusion, here today.
The tournament, organized by Krishna Ghati Brigade at Jhalas had commenced on August 16, 2012 and the teams of adjoining areas participated it. The final was played between Jhalas ‘A’ and Jhalas ‘B’ in which Jhalas ‘A’ scripted a convincing win.
Brig TS Sandhu, Cdr Krishna Ghati Brigade, was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed trophies and other prizes among the winners and runners up teams. Col Lalit Sharma, Commanding Officer of Local Unit and prominent citizens were also present on the occasion.
