JAMMU, Aug 8: Dr SP Vaid, former Emeritus Fellow of University rants Commission (UGC) and former Senior Fellow of ICSSR affiliated with the Ministry of Human Resources, Govt of India, has been awarded Senior Fellowship for the second time by the Indian Council of Social Sciences and Research (ICSSR) till 2016.
The topic of the allotted project is “Marginalization of the Gujjars and the Bakarwals Community in J&K State and State Policies since 1947: A case Study”.
Apart from these prestigious Fellowships, Dr Vaid has written galaxy of books and has the distinction of being the recipient of National Award from the President of India in the field of education.
