JAMMU, Aug 8: A six-day orientation programme organized by Planning and Management Wing of State Institute of Education (SIE), Jammu on ‘Educational Management and Financial Management’ concluded today.
The training program had begun on August 3 under the guidance of HR Pakhroo, Joint Director (Trgs)/Principal, SIE Jammu, with the objective to equip the heads of zones with necessary administrative managerial skills and knowledge to deal effectively with financial matters.
The valedictory function was chaired by SK Raina, senior most Field Advisor and Head of Planning and Management Wing, who stressed upon ZEOs to strive hard to strengthen the education system at their respective zones. He advised them to adopt leadership aptitudes, managerial skills and focus on best academic, physical, social and administrative environment of all the institutions existing in respective zones.
The external resource persons ML Sharma, Ex-Senior Accounts Officer, AG Office, J&K and Prem Lata Patial CAO, NZATI Jammu, threw light on various topics viz pay fixation, pension cases, leave rules, GP Fund rules IT rules, CSR & Financial Code, etc. Among others present on the occasion were Shafi Lal, Sarita Anand and Nath Ram, all Field Advisors, Kulbir Singh, Nand Kishore and KK Badyal, all +2 Principals and BD Sharma, Shashi Paul and JP Singh, ROs, SIE Jammu.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Alka Sharma, RO while Suresh Kumar Gupta, RO, was the co-ordinator of the programme as well as internal resource person, who broadly cleared various accounting issues of ZEOs.
The logistic support was provided by Tapsaya Sharma, Puneet Thukral and Rakhi Atri, all ROs, Sham Gupta, Statistical Officer and Sunit Singh, SA of SIE Jammu.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Suresh Kumar Gouria, RO, SIE, Jammu.
