JAMMU, Aug 11: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Romeo Force completed multiple projects for employment generation and for promotion of sports for the youth in the area of Thanamandi. Romeo Force has established a Multi Gymnasium, distributed sports kits as well as Computer and accessories with internet facilities to the Youth Employment Guidance Node in Thannamandi.
Rashtriya Rifles Battalion has also conducted an Information technology course for girl students from Government Girls Higher Secondary School Thannamandi. Besides this a Vocational training centre for women has also been established at the Youth Employment Guidance Node, Thannamandi.
Major General AK Sanyal, General Officer Commanding, Romeo Force inaugurated the ceremony which was held on the completion of the projects at Youth Employment Guidance Node Thannamandi, today. 16 girl students who completed the Information Technology course conducted through NIIT, Jammu were presented with certificates on the occasion.
