REASI, Aug 12: On the occasion of Independence Day, Salal Power Station of NHPC Limited organized a T20 cricket match at Ramlila Ground, Jyotipuram between NHPC and CISF teams which was won by CISF team, here today.
A G Ansari, General Manager, Salal Power Station encouraged the winning team by presenting a trophy.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ansari said while playing the game, one team has to win and the other to lose but displaying sportsman spirit is the name of the game.
CISF team won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, CISF gave a target of 153 runs to NHPC team. NHPC team could score only 92 runs and lost the match by 60 runs.
Sajid from CISF was adjudged man of the match as he scored 20 runs and took 5 wickets.
