Free Cardiac OPD in Jammu by Fortis Ludhiana

JAMMU, Aug 17: Fortis Hospital Ludhiana today inaugurated Free Cardiac OPD in  Jammu city for the benefit of  people in and around Jammu and  Kashmir.
Well- known Dr Paramdeep Singh Sandhu, Consultant (Interventional Cardiologist) at Fortis  Hospital Ludhiana, will provide consultancy on various heart ailments here. Today he examined 85 Cardiac patients.
Fortis Hospital Ludhiana will be holding this Cardiac OPD in association with Aggarwal Super Specialist Clinics (ASSC) at Health Line Multispecialty Clinics, Resham Ghar on third Sunday of every month.
According to Dr Paramdeep S Sandhu, “Hypertension and  diabetes is silent killer and if not detected well in time, can lead to serious complications like heart attack or a stroke. A regular check up along with monitoring of BP and other parameters is advisable. We also recommend a balanced diet along with regular exercise to ward of hypertension.”
