Budgam, Aug 18: Army today said that in its earnest effort to provide quality sports infrastructure to the youth of Valley, marked the commencement of upgradation of sports infrastructure by organizing a mega cultural event at Charar-e-Sharief Sports Field in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The event was inaugurated by GOC 15 Chinar Corps, Lt General Subrata Saha while dignitaries present on the occasion were GOC, Victor Force, Major General Arvind Dutta, Brigadier K Venugopal, Deputy Commsioner Budgam Mir Altaf, SSP Budgam Fayaz Ahmad Lone, former Director Doordarshan Bashir Budgami.
The event also highlighted the ground work done during various Sadhbhavana activities carried out by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion in Budgam district.
