DPS organizes Inter House Debate Competition

JAMMU, Aug 21: To bring out the best in students, Delhi Public School, Jammu organized an Inter House Debate Competition for classes VI-VIII in the School premise here today.
The aim of the competition was to let the students express their views independently on the topic “Is strike the ultimate solution of any problem?”
Two students from each of the five houses debated in favour and against the motion. The listeners were impressed by the confidence exhibited by the students as they voiced their opinion about strikes in strong and powerful words.
Abbu of class VIII (Chenab House) bagged the first position while Subhag of class VII (Tawi House) and Manya of class VI (Ganga House) won 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The competition was adjudged by Randeep Kour and Veena Kumari, teachers of the School.
While addressing the students, Headmistress Meenu Gupta urged the teachers to train more and more students to reach the pinnacle and bring glory to the School and their parents too.
Ruchi Chabra, Principal DPS Jammu lauded the efforts of the students for their brilliant performance.
