Srinagar, Aug 23: Police today said a lady from Anantnag district committed suicide while a girl attempted to end her life in Kupwara district.
A police spokesman said a lady (name with held) of Aanchidora in Anantnag consumed some poisonous substance at Anzwallah. “The lady breathed her last while on way to hospital. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
He said in a bid to end her life, a girl (name with held) of resident of Poshwara in Kupwara consumed some poisonous substance at her home. “She was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment, where from she was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the police spokesman added.
