JKP emerges victorious in Khyber Super Division Football

SRINAGAR, Aug 24: J&K Police XI defeated Jehlum Sports by three goals to nil (3-0) in the Khyber Super Division Big Premier Football League 2015, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at Synthetic Turf, Tourist Reception Centre, here today.
JKP XI players dominated the game from the word go and scored the first goal through Yaseen, which were followed by two back to back goals by Fayaz to win the match by (3-0).
In another match, Lone Star Kashmir Football Club trounced Maharaja Sports by two goals to one (2-1). Ifham scored both the goals for Lone Star in 29th and 39 minutes of the match. For Maharaja Sports, Imran pelted the goal in 62nd minute of the match. Finally, Lone Star won by (2-1).
In tomorrow’s fixture, Jehangir Sports will take on Young Batmaloo FC at 3 pm and J&K Bank XI will face Arafat Sports at pm at the same venue.
