SRINAGAR:
Suspected militants tonight shot dead a civilian in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said.
“Unidentified militants fired upon Javaid Ahmad Khan near his residence at Khandipora in Awantipora,” a police officer said.
Khan was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but succumbed to injuries on the way, the officer said.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the killing so far. (AGENCIES)
