JAMMU, Aug 28: Anil Kumar of Jammu won gold in the 1st J&K State Open Men & Women above 20 years Athletic Championship, organized by J&K Amateur Athletic Association at MA Stadium, here.
Athletes drawn from various districts of J&K, Permanent Clubs, Colleges and J&K Police participated in the Championship, which was inaugurated by S. Ravinder Singh, General secretary, J&K Amateur Athletic Association.
On the prize distribution function, S S Gill, retired Deputy Commandant (Ex-Chief Athletic Coach of BSF) was the chief guest who distributed prizes among the winners.
Prominent among others present on the Occasion were Harjeet Gill, Ramesh Sharma and S Gurucharan Singh.
