SRINAGAR, Aug 28: The Annual Women’s Football Knockout Tournament 2015 got underway at the football field of Govt. Women’s College M.A Road, here today.
In the first match of the Tournament, Presentation Convent HS School defeated Govt. Girls HS School, Kothibagh, Srinagar by 2 goals to one (2-1).
Aliya from Presentation Convent scored 2 splendid Goals, while Aynan was the goal scorer from Kothibagh.
In another match, Green Valley Education Institute defeated Candid HS School, Nowgam by two goals to nil (2-0). From Green Valley Areeba and Maliha netted the goals.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Mallinson Girls HS School will take on Women’s College M.A Road, while Blue XI Govt. HS School Chanpora defeated New Convent Gogjibagh, Srinagar.
