THAPKOUR, (HP), Aug 31: To help students not to derail from the mainstream,Vaishno College of Engineering organized a seminar in its premises, today. The students were warned of the ill effects of drug abuse and encouraged to come forward and report any such incident to the police with the option of remaining anonymous. Mr.Pathania, Social Worker and a freelance anti-drug campaigner, addressed the students about the adverse effects of drugs and how it eventually ruins life of youngsters. The institution encourages such seminars and campaigns for the betterment of the students and to safeguard their future. The students took a pledge to stay at bay from drugs and alcoholism and work sincerely towards building their future.
