JAMMU, Sept 2: Semis lineup was drawn in men’s section in the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Handball (Men & Women) Tournament 2015-16, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, Jammu at University Sports Stadium.
Earlier, in men’s section, PG Department defeated GGM Science College by (15- 05) goals, Commerce College drubbed MAM College by (14-12) goals, GDC Udhamppur and GDC Kathua got walkover against GDC Samba and GDC Doda respectively.
P.G. Dept. will play against GDC Udhampur and Commerce College will take on GDC Kathua in the semifinal matches tomorrow.
In women’s section, GCW Parade beat P.G. Dept by ( 8 – 1) goals. GCW Parade will face GCW Gandhi Nagar in the final tomorrow.
The matches were organized under the supervision of Prof. Dhian S. Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, Jammu.
Balbir Singh Chib, Ajaz Malik, Vijay Kumari, Suman Sharma, Romesh Sharma, Dr. Brij Baloria, Ravish Vaid, Gagan Kumar were present on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Kapil Salgotra, Taqdeer Singh Charak, Gourav Sharma, Amit Sharma and Vinay Sharma.
The matches were conducted by Vikas Karlopia.
