JAMMU, Sept 7: GD Goenka Public School organized Sahodya Football Tournament for Under-19 boys in which MHAC School, Nagbani emerged champion by defeating Jodhamal Public School in the finals by 3-0 goals.
Earlier, in semifinals they defeated APS Domana by 4-0 goals, while in quarterfinals, the School got better of BSF Paloura by 3-1 goals.
Sahil Kumar of MHAC School, Nagbani was awarded with a memento of best scorer and a cash prize of Rs 500 was given to him by the officials and Rs 1100 by the Sports Teacher of GD Goenka School, while Kajal Singh of MHAC School, Nagbani was adjudged best player of the tournament. Suraj Tickoo was the captain of the team.
18 teams of CBSE Schools of Jammu zone participated in this tournament and MHAC lifted the overall trophy.
