KATHUA, Sept 7: BJP State general secretary and MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia has sought cooperation of the people in implementing the development programmes on ground level adding that Government is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people across the State including regular electricity, healthcare, education, better sewerage, safe drinking water, road connectivity and lanes.
This was stated by the MLA after launching various development works in Kathua Constituency at an estimated cost of Rs. 60 lakh. While interacting with the locals, Jasrotia asked the executing agency to complete the development works within stipulated time frame for the convenience of general masses. He urged the people to remain vigilant from those elements, who misled the people for their vested interests and are trying to create nuisance by spreading rumours among the masses. He said need of the hour is to strengthen the peace and defeat anti-national and anti-social forces.
He said the role of private sector in boosting industrialization in the State adding that industrialization is the only solution for solving the challenging unemployment problem. He apprised the people there is no constraint of funds as NDA Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided liberal funding to the State Government for uplifting the socio-economic condition of the people across the State.
Jasrotia kick started construction work of lanes and drains besides community halls and inaugurating completed works said that he was well conversant with the problems of the people of these areas and efforts are being made to fulfill their genuine demands. He said that our State is witnessing fast track development in different sectors and various schemes for the welfare of general public are being launched in a phased manner for the overall development. He said that it is the endeavour of the Coalition Government to provide all basic facilities to the people.
