SUNDERBANI, Sept 7: Under Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyan, Department of Youth Services and Sports started two days Tournament at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Sunderbani, today.
The Tournament was inaugurated by SDM Sunderbani, Kartar Singh in the presence of Principal Boys Higher Secondary School, Sunderbani, OP Sharma, ZPEO Sunderbani, Jaswant Singh, ZPEO Lower Hathal, Romesh Sharma and Headmaster Middle School, Sodhra, Sumit Sudan. SDM Sunderbani, Mr Singh in his address while laying stress on the importance of games and sports said that sports not only keeps us physically fit but also helps us to shape our careers.
On the first day of tournament, over 200 students from 24 Panchayats of Sunderbani participated in badminton, athletic events and Taekwando martial art.
The physical education teachers and masters of Sunderbani and Lower Hathal zones were present in the occasion.
